iOS4.3– Better Technology for Better Apple Devices | apple, iOS

ios 4.31 iOS4.3– Better Technology for Better Apple DevicesI was so surprised when I heard that Apple released the iOS4.3 and introduced it to the public 2 days before its scheduled release. The iOS4.3 is compatible with Apple’s latest devices like the iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and the 3rd and 4th generation of the iPod touch.

Upon hearing the release of iOS4.3, I immediately updated my Apple device by clicking on the “Check for Update Button” on iTunes. The update includes a handful of enhancements and new applications like AirPlay Viideo, iTunes Home Sharing, and Personal HotSpot.

The Wider Coverage Personal HotSpot

The Personal HotSpot lets me share the data that are stored on my iPhone 4 to five other devices by using 3 Wi-Fi, 3 Bluetooth and 1 USB connection.

Broader iTunes Home Sharing

By using this new application, I can easily share the contents of my iTunes library from a Mac or PC to my iPhone. But this requires iTunes 10.2 for compatibility in sharing.

New and Improved AirPlay Features

With the new AirPlay, I can play videos using photo applications like the Camera Roll Album, iTunes Previews, Enabled Third Party Apps, and websites found on Apple TV. I can use the different transitions on the Apple TV for slideshows.

The Faster Apple Nitro Java Script

The new engine enables me to enjoy faster performance especially in Safari.

The Advanced Apple Digital AV Adapter

I can view video app, iPod app, YouTube, Photos, Safari, Keynote and enabled third party apps on HDMI display using 720p HD.

Ping Features

Push for comments, requests, and post and like songs that are on the Now Playing Screen. It has Parental Control so that kids would only view age-appropriate sites and videos.

New Settings

The Message Setting could be set in a number of times to alert you if there is an unread message. The iPad’s Side Switch Setting could lock the screen rotation or mute the notifications and sound effects.

The New Conference Call Dialing

A single tap conference call could be made but a pause is made to send a passcode for your security.

Featuring Home-Sharing In iOS 4.3

Users are now allowed to get access to the iTunes library using their iDevices through Wi-Fi. This is made possible by Apple through their newest feature – the Home Sharing which was unveiled recently. According to the released developer previews, this is what Apple has been planning to add in iOS 4.3.

Cult of Mac was the one responsible for breaking the NDA and posted some of its pictures while iOS 4.3 hasn’t gone public yet. Details on how those feature works were also divulged.

In order for the Home Sharing to be activated, you will need the iOS 4.3. This will help you access your iTunes credentials in the iPad tab Settings app. Once your Home Sharing is activated in iTunes using the same credentials and most importantly you have to be sure that you are on the same Wi-Fi network then iTunes library will eventually pop up in your iDevice. Movie streaming, music downloading and anything else that you want to do in your Ipad, IPod touches and Iphones can be done for free.
